K&J REMARKS Brachysporisporites thraceus is here (in Kalgutkar and Jansonius 2000) assigned to the genus Anatolinites. It may be a taxonomic synonym of Anatolinites dongyingensis (Ediger 1981) Elsik et al. 1990. The specific epithet originally was spelled "thraceous", an obvious typographic or orthographic error under influence of the English suffix "-ous". The specific epithet in proper Latin is written as "thraceus" (= from Thrace). This correction is authorized under Art. 60.1 of the ICBN.
