ORIG DESCRIPTION

Saprophytic sphaeropsidaceous fungus with ostiolate pycnidia; pycnidia 80-100 x 60-65 µm; mycelium 1.5-2 µm broad, branched; conidia 2celled, elongate, hyaline, 3.5 x 2-1.5 µm.
COMMENTS
*
This fungus is comparable to the modern genus Ascochyta Libert.
