LOCATION Thrace Basin, Turkey.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Unicellate, aseptate, monoporate fungal spores. Pore is placed at the apical end of the grain. Perfectly elliptical shape. Exine is 1.5-3 µm thick, psilate, folded. Pore structure is simple, there is no thickening of exine around pores. Dimensions: 20 x 40 µm.
COMMENTS* The large size of this species separates it from other species of Lacrimasporonites.
