SPECIES, AUTHORITY M. pannosus (Parsons & Norris) Kalgutkar & Jansonius 2000
LOCATION Caribou Hills, Mackenzie River delta, Canada.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Large monoporate fungal spore with an outline that is ovate, obovate to vase-shaped, or almost circular. Pore at proximal end simple, 2-4.5 µm in diameter. Spore surface prominently scabrate, the large scabs may have smaller granula between them. Overall length 24-49 µm, width 16-31 µm. Holotype: 38 x 17 µm.
