SPECIES, AUTHORITY B. erdtmanii (Varma & Rawat) Kalgutkar & Jansonius 2000
LOCATION Western and eastern India, in West Bengal and Assam; geographically the areas are about 1440 km. apart.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Pollen grains 2-porate, bilateral, isopolar, somewhat elongated and barrel-shaped (30 x 42.5 x 30 µm). Pores simple, sunken, presumably circular (about 14.3 µm in diameter), occupying the entire lateral ends of the grain. Exine granulate (first order), about 1.4 µm. Sexine slightly thicker than nexine.
