ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores pyriform, the distal septum more or less equatorial to the ovoid part of the spore and approaching twice the length of the next septum, the basal part of the spore tapered and the median-width ratio of apical and attachment cells about 3:1; observed spore dimensions about 35-40 x 15-18 µm.
COMMENTS* As for the genus.
