SPECIES, AUTHORITY D. longus (Kar) Kalgutkar & Jansonius 2000
LOCATION Barkhana nala cutting, near the village Sarangwara, District of Kutch, western India.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores 67-132 x 32-47 µm, elliptical, carrot-shaped, monoporate; pore circular, distinct, margin slightly thickened, a lid-like projection present above the pore; spore coat levigate.
COMMENTS* Lacrimasporonites basidii Elsik 1968, L. westii Elsik 1968 and L. stoughiae Elsik 1968 are differentiated from the present species by their smaller size ranges.
