ORIG DESCRIPTION

Spores 40 x 21 µm. Outline elliptical, ends truncate, slightly barrel-shaped. Diporate, pores simple, circular or elliptical in shape, 7-8 µm in diameter. Four-celled, septa dark-colored, 1.5-2 µm wide, might be split in the middle. Spore wall 1.5 µm thick, two-layered, outer and inner layers are of about equal thickness, or inner layer slightly thicker than the outer layer, surface psilate.
