ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores diporate, elliptical, 4-celled, cells more or less of equal size, thin-walled, light brown, smooth. Septa dark, thicker than the cell wall, with folds and perforations. Cell wall very slightly notched at the septa. Pores simple, incurved. Spores 27-30 x 9 µm in size.

Etymology: Named for incurved pores.
