LOCATION Baltic area, Poland.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* A fungus, located on the surface of a small fruit, consisting of bristle-like hyphal threads that project, perpendicularly or at odd angles, from the substrate [singly, or] in groups of up to 10 hyphae. These hyphae, black in color, taper somewhat toward their distal ends, and are irregularly bent this way or that, mostly gnarled and bumpy; they are 6.6-12.4 µm in diameter, and 330-440 µm in length. No spores were observed.
