ORIG DESCRIPTION

Saprophytic fungus found inside Salvinia intertrappea megaspores, in space usually occupied by female gametophyte; mycelium 5-6 µm in breadth; conidia loosely, spirally coiled, 21-32 x 20-30 µm, narrow at both ends.
COMMENTS
*
The present form resembles the genus Helicomina of Deuteromycetes because of the coiled, thin-walled and hyaline conidia.
