LOCATION Puryear clay pit, one-half mile south of Puryear, Henry County, Tennessee, USA.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Capsular, dicellate spore 9.7 x 19.3 µm, pore in one cell leading to a flat basal attachment. Psilate, opaque equatorial septum, 2.9 µm thick. Medium pigment, wall 0.7 µm thick.
