LOCATION Piedras Negras, Coahuila State, Mexico.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Dicellular, uniseptate, monoporate fungal spore. The cells are unequal: the one with the pore is elongated and is 10 µm long; the other has a rounded apex and is 8 µm long. The septum is 1 µm thick. The exine is 1 µm thick. Oval perimeter with bilateral symmetry. Smooth ornamentation. Dimensions: 18 µm long by 8 µm wide.
COMMENTS* It has been named Didymoporisporonites ovumformis because of its oval shape.
