LOCATION Yegua Formation of Brazos County, Texas, USA.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Aseptate, psilate fungal spores with a longitudinal furrow on the more convex side of the spore. The furrow reaches the ends of the spore. Outline elliptical, slightly asymmetrical, with one side more convex; the ends are broadly rounded. Ca. 12 x 22 µm overall; spore wall rigid, ca. 0.75 µm.
COMMENTS* Differentiated on the slightly asymmetrical shape and the longitudinal furrow reaching the apices along the more convex side of the spore.

Derivation of name: Recovered from strata exposed along the banks of the Brazos River, Brazos County, Texas.
