SPECIES, AUTHORITY I. rotundus Ke & Shi 1978, p. 32, pl. 1, fig. 2.
LOCATION Lijin and Kenli, Shandong Province, Coastal region of Bohai, China.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores 40-45 µm in diameter. One-celled, outline circular. Inaperturate. Spore wall 3-4.5 µm thick, surface psilate.
COMMENTS* Although in shape these spores are very similar to those in Inapertisporites circularis Sheffy & Dilcher 1971, they are much larger than the latter and also have a very thick spore wall.
