LOCATION Puryear clay pit, one-half mile south of Puryear, Henry County, Tennessee, USA.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Subspherical spore 14.5 µm in diameter with small spherical projection, coarsely pitted, aseptate. Wall 0.7 µm thick, continuous into projection.
