K&J REMARKS Inapertusporites is a typographic error for Inapertisporites; this spelling was used only in the caption of plate 20 in van der Hammen 1954, but not in the remaining text. The spelling "Inapertusporites" was used later only by Kar & Saxena (1976, p. 10) to refer to two species, I. kedvesii Elsik 1968 and I. sp.
