ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS: [combined description] Smooth-walled, globose to pyriform thallus up to 15 µm long, with distal end of some bulb-like; base spherical with single, unbranched rhizoid approximately 0.5 µm in diameter extending from median position on base, rhizoid extending into cell; other features of the zoosporangium unknown.
