LOCATION Australia, New Zealand and the Kerguelen Archipelago.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Ascomata round, flattened, astomate, brown, sometimes confluent, 74-133 µm in diameter, composed of hyphae that radiate from a large, thick-walled, hexagonal, central cell 8-13 µm in diameter. The more centrally placed cells thick-walled and almost cubical, peripheral cells rectangular, 2.6-5 µm thick, with thinner walls. Margin slightly fimbriate.
