K&J REMARKS With no illustrations of the type, the name of the genus is not validly published, in spite of the fact that the locations where the type material was collected and is stored, were cited: Types from near Rasdan, Armenia, USSR, in Tertiary clays, at a depth of 1700-1703 m, between Upper Paleogene and Lower Neogene strata, [VII 1965-1966, E. Eramian - meaning of this unclear: date, name of collector?]; permanent preparation conserved at Faculty of Cryptogam Botany, University of Erevan.
