LOCATION Puryear clay pit, one-half mile south of Puryear, Henry County, Tennessee, USA.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Oval spore 7.7 x 15.5 µm, flat along extended sides, tapered abruptly at one end, forming flat neck with pore. Psilate, dark pigment, wall 1 µm thick.
