K&J REMARKS This name is cited in Song Zhichen et al. 1999, p. 15, pl. 11, fig. 37; Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) assume that it was validly published. When Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) received this information, they lacked the time to locate and obtain (a copy of) the protologue by Wang & Leng.

Song's illustration of this type has a close similarity to Kalgutkar and Jansonius's (2000) Pl. 8, fig. 16, which represents Dyadosporites clarkii (Salard-Cheboldaeff & Locquin) comb. nov. However, its dimensions of 40 x 20 µm are somewhat greater than those of the latter.

Although this species may belong in Dyadosporites, Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) felt they could not transfer it without having seen the original publication.
