K&J REMARKS The illustration appears to be of an inaperturate fusiform four-celled spore, of which the two terminal cells are longer and more tapered than those in Multicellites fusus (Ediger) comb. nov., and the two central cells thicker-walled; rather than to this latter genus, Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) therefore assigned the species to Ramasricellites.
