It appears that this name was not validly published because the author did not specify where the holotype is stored, and did not provide a Latin or English translation. (ICBN, Art. 36.3.)
The illustration of the holotype is unclear, and the type is much more squat than the specimen in fig. 4 (l.c.); however, the overall shape of these forms is similar to that found in the genus Polycellaesporonites. The dimensions are given as 38-62 x 18-22 µm.
