K&J REMARKS
In the plate of the original publication, this species appears to have two truncated ends, indicative of terminal hila of a conidium. However, when Mme Salard-Cheboldaeff kindly sent Kalgutkar and Jansonius the original negatives, it was clear that the terminal cells are very thin, but unbroken at the termini. The most appropriate assignment seems to be in Multicellites; the spores of Chaetosphaerites have only two central thick-walled cells.
