ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS: A pore-bearing fossil genus of the Formitoideae in Aphyllophorales. Form and size of the pileus similar to the recent multistratified genera Fomitopsis and Phellinum, zonate-sulcate, trama very thick, pores minute, without stipes; found on petrified coniferous wood.
