LOCATION Piedras Negras, Coahuila State, Mexico.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Multicellular, multiseptate, monoporate fungal spore. It has five cells of different size and four septa 1 µm thick each. At one end there is a neck 4 µm long by 3 µm wide, in which is located the pore 3 µm in diameter. The exine is 1 µm thick. Oval perimeter with bilateral symmetry. Smooth ornamentation. Dimensions: 21 µm long by 12 µm wide.
COMMENTS* Named coahuilensis for its occurrence in the state of Coahuila.
