LOCATION Panshan, Liaoning Province, Coastal region of Bohai, China.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores 30 x 22 µm. Monoporate, pore circular, 3 µm in diameter, provided with annulus, width of annulus about 0.5 µm. Three-celled, cells subcircular. Septa disc-shaped, dark-colored, 3-4 µm wide. Spore wall 1 µm thick, two-layered, outer layer thicker than the inner one, surface psilate.
COMMENTS* Spores in this species resemble Pluricellaesporites ovatus Sheffy & Dilcher 1971 (pl. 14, fig. 61) in shape, but are distinguished by their very large body size and by the structure of their individual cells.
