K&J REMARKS
It appears that this name was not validly published because the author did not specify where the holotype is stored, and did not provide a Latin or English translation. (ICBN, Art. 36.3.)
The illustrated specimen measures 35 x 24 µm and has an overall broadly oval shape. Its distal cell is half the total spore length. This form might better fit in with Brachysporisporites.
