SPECIES, AUTHORITY P. mirus Ke & Shi 1978, p. 45, pl. 4, fig. 15.
LOCATION Panshan, Liaoning Province, Coastal region of Bohai, China.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores 26 x 11 µm. Outline somewhat fusiform. Monoporate, pore about 2 µm in diameter, simple. Four-celled, cells at ends elliptical, two cells in middle somewhat circular. Septa 1 µm wide, hyaline. Spore wall 1 µm thick, surface psilate.
COMMENTS* Spores of this species are fairly similar to Pluricellaesporites suboblongatus Sheffy & Dilcher 1971 (pl. 14, fig. 65). They differ, however, in having a larger body size and a slightly elliptical outline, and in lacking attachments on their basal cells.
