LOCATION Surma group, Sonapur-Badarpur Road section, Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya and Cachar, Assam, India.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Fungal spore elongate, with one end wider and the other end tubular. Size 111 x 33 µm, 18-celled, cells wider in the middle than those towards the apertural end. Monoporate, pore apically placed at the narrower end. Septa 1-1.5 µm thick. Spore wall 1 µm thick, granulose-verrucose. Surface view giving a verrucose appearance.
COMMENTS* This species can be differentiated from all the other species of Pluricellaesporites by having a verrucose spore wall.
