ORIG DESCRIPTION* ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS: [combined description] Conidiophores simple, straight, tip pointed. Conidia oblong-cylindrical, with obtuse ends, unicellular or uniseptate, hyaline, 9-13 x 2.5-3 µm.

K&J REMARKS With no illustrations of the spores, the name of the genus is not validly published, in spite of the fact that the locations where the type material was collected and is stored, are cited: Types from near Octemberian, Armenia, USSR, in Tertiary clays, at a depth of 234-242 m, between Upper Paleogene and lower Neogene strata, [VII 1964, E. Eramian - meaning of this unclear: date, name of collector?]; permanent preparation conserved at Faculty of Cryptogam Botany, University of Erevan.
