ORIG DESCRIPTION

Tetracellate spore, size varies up to 80 x 20 µm, cells arranged along the longer axis (with 3 dark septa), individual spore spherical in shape, ± 20 µm in size, spore wall levigate and 1.5 µm thick. Spores dark brown.
COMMENTS
*
The present species seems similar to Multicellaesporites allomorphus Sheffy & Dilcher 1971 in shape and 4-celled body but differs from it in being bigger and having thicker spore wall with spherical cells. Named for U. Prakash.
