LOCATION Shahejie Formation: Qingfeng county of Henan Province, China.
ORIG DESCRIPTION* Spores 3-celled; cells circular, tangentially connected, holotype 71 µm in length. Spores catenate, each cell spherical in outline, middle cell larger than other two, about 30 x 34 µm, cells at both ends smaller, about 25-30 µm [in diameter]. Septa without septal folds. Spore wall about 1 µm in thickness, surface smooth to scabrate.
COMMENTS* This species can be distinguished from other species of Multicellaesporites by the shape of its cells, and character of the septa.
