K&J REMARKS Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) interpret the three pores in the type specimen as being germinal or degradation pores, the number and placement of which have no taxonomic value. See also remarks from Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) under the genus Monoporisporites, as well as Triporisporonites. For that reason, Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) include the genus under Inapertisporites.
