K&J REMARKS
Triporisporonites Sheffy & Dilcher 1971 was diagnosed as pertaining to unicellular, psilate, aseptate, triporate spores with variable shapes. Multicellaesporites verus Ke & Shi 1978 is not triporate, but tricellate (and presumably biporate); its original placement in the genus Multicellaesporites may be inappropriate. Kalgutkar and Jansonius (2000) transfer the species to the new genus Biporipsilonites.
