Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design, construct, run, analyse and report on output from a bespoke SLiM/tskit simulation model to compare sensitivity of STRUCTURE, PCA and Fst-based measures of divergence as used in aid of defining Designatable Units for COSEWIC assessments under SARA;
2. Contribute to intellectual life of lab, including participating in lab meetings and journal club;
3. Contribute to occasional supervision of junior lab members as needed.

Qualifications
Masters or equivalent in biology or related degree with in-depth experience using SLiM, tskit and STRUCTURE and experience running and interpreting standard population genetics metrics. Demonstrated ability to work in a group environment.
