Title: | Information station of parasitoid wasps: Trigonalidae (Japanese) |
Abstract: | (Translation) It is a group of relatively small parasitic [wasps] with a characteristic form, and 9 species are known from Japan. The body length of the Japanese species is usually about 5 to 12 mm, except for the Ezo Markagi [wasp], which sometimes reaches 15 mm. In most species, it is thought that this Japanese name was given because the abdominal tip of ♀ is kegi-shaped. The main traits are as described above. |
