Notes on pileipellis: +/- Erect thin hyphae, 2-3 µm diameter. Rounded tips. No pileicystidia evident. Septa not conspicuous but some seen with septum 25-30 µm from tip. Pileipellis a deep zone of undifferentiated, interwoven thin hyphae. Depth not measured.
