Note that there are 2 collections recorded under this WTU number, 017 and 018, the latter has more data and appears to be the one with the collection associated with it, but not entirely clear. The locale and date for 017 is recorded as Pacific Beach, 10/26/1974.
On the drawing of spores is noted "Spores don't conform with Hesler study of Schaeffer collections for R. lilacea. Spore size OK. Looks more like R. placita Burl. Best match is R. murrilli Burl.
